The metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly
The survival of a caterpillar in hot red pepper
And deriving it’s food
The thole and humility of the donkey
Paints a picture of hope for tomorrow
From dawn to dusk
Breaking boulder
Cracking rock
Fighting lock
Digging ground
Racking brain
Praying for rain
Striving to have the lock
Propitious season
Sodden season
Breaking boulder
Cracking rock
Fighting lock
Digging grounds
Racking brain
Praying for rain
Striving to have the lock
In dark night without light
On a rag on a lampy bed
On the intimate landscape cemented with clay
There, I lay wondering the payday
The wind whispered to me
The picture paint of hope for tomorrow
There shall be no rapport with the rag
Nor shall the sun slant to welcome me through the cracks
Nor shall my colour get dimmed
By the noxious scorching sun
For the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly
The survival of a caterpillar in hot red pepper
And deriving it’s food
The thole and humility of the donkey
Paint a picture of hope for tomorrow
