Self-discipline has been the most difficult thing we find to do but importantly, this difficult thing is the most single tool that ensures a successful reality.
Self-discipline is the only tool that keeps you focus, keeps you trying, causes you to choose difficult paths, makes you do the right thing, gives you the grit to overcome obstacles and discomfort as you push through your new heights. Sometimes, it’s self-discipline that’s makes some individuals refer to others as strict or disciplinarians but the fact is that Self-discipline helps you maintain an order.

It’s self-discipline that says no when on daily basis, friends are begging for you to go and have fun instead of confining yourself to a conducive atmosphere where you can plan your life and work towards your goals.
Self-discipline does not deal with convenience. There will be times you don’t feel like it but you have to do it anyway because self-discipline is your hallmark. Self-discipline is the ability to control your impulses, emotions, reactions and behaviors. It allows you to forego short-term gratification in favor of long-term satisfaction and gain. There will be many shortcuts but a self-disciplined man will go for a steepy or hilly road knowing those shortcuts lead to nothing but destruction.
It’s saying “No” when you really want to say “Yes.” It is not basically about living a restrictive and boring life rid of enjoyment. Self-discipline helps you create habits and once something becomes part of you, you will not need to force yourself self doing it. Self-discipline helps keep going, fighting and maintaining the right path when others are throwing in the towel.
Self-discipline is difficult to take up but once you are able to uphold it, it becomes the bridge between goals and accomplishments as it is the centre of the universe for success.
