DON’T LOOK AT ME

With all due respect
Don’t look at me
I would have said your eyes infect
But they seem to plea
I’m saying it this time direct
Just don’t look at me

A decade felt like a second
It happened so fast
Don’t look at me a second
My soul your thorny glances blast
You said it’s our past
That is what you reckoned

How i wish I can be remade
Or should I run far away
Where my pain will fade
How much will I have to pay
I don’t even know what to say
My brain too has dried as hay

This imposter called love
Pot holes it created in many hearts
It looks as innocent as dove
Guilty of dreadful imparts
Tearing hearts in parts
Now i only believe in the love above

I have a complete diary
A memory diary i can’t bury
Don’t look at me
My bloody eyes are scary
This is what you made me
Now my inward demons vary

Hey don’t look at me
Myself I don’t look at me
Because I am no more me
Your love was a joke
You made me choke
Just don’t look at me

Follow your heart people say
What’s if your heart is a junction of many roads
It’s a dismay
