Gianni Infantino re-elected as FIFA president
The current president of Fifa, Gianni Infantino, has been re-elected to continue leading the world’s governing body for football for another four years.
Infantino, who succeeded Sepp Blatter in 2016 and held the position through 2019, was re-elected without opposition in 2019 and will now continue to serve as FIFA’s president till 2027.

Infantino emphasized his appreciation and sense of duty during his speech at the 73rd FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda.
He described it as an incredible honour and privilege, and a huge responsibility.
Meanwhile, Infantino promised to continually service FIFA and football around the world.
