TWO STRANGERS

She claims she is right
He claims she is wrong
She yells, He yells
She yells, He yells
That little argument sparked it
Or I don’t even know how it started

Two strangers
And I from another planet
Not of them, I can’t imagine that

It aggravates into exchange of blows
I watched on helpless
A little child with no might
If I come in between
I will not leave without slaps
So I console myself on my laps
In the pool of innocent tears

Often times to the streets I flee
From the two strangers
I wonder if I belong there
It’s weary, too much for a tender age

I see beautiful pictures of others
I hear others tell their fascinating stories
I smell the aroma of love among other tender ages
Then I get haunted by the demons of their mess
And I remember the rejection of my innocent cry pleas

It’s been nasty ways of living all throughout
Out of neglect, abuse, hatred, abandonment
My heart feel hallow
For I knew no love
Even now that I blossom
Into the second race of life _ of age
