ALL ALONE

Sitting on a string in serenity
The Cool breeze blows
As she moves from fro to fro
From fro to fro then coming to a halt

The thoughts of the mind scattered
From East – West and North – South
Couldn’t figure the longitude or latitude of it
Her soul became so dismal and desolate

Her mind pacing on the herculean responsibilities
Father; a lowly peasant
Mother; a lowly housewife
The head sibling with an empty palm
The younger siblings yet to grow
And she is left all alone
To shoulder all despite the personal

With the support of a guardian
She stands out – now considered an eye
With much eagerness she wants to change things
To make a difference in the existing story line
Left lonely on the string with scattered hair
She pondered and wondered
How and when will she make the story line a history?
