This was found in a letter written to the Minister of Education and signed by Dr. Harriet Naki Amui, Executive Secretary of PRINCOF on Monday October 31, 2022.

PRINCOF said that due to the current market trends, Principals are trying really hard to feed teacher trainees lately.

Also, due to their debt to food suppliers, these suppliers are refusing to deliver food to colleges as prices for all food items have increased exponentially.

PRINCOF further complained that no approval has been given regarding a request for an increase in the feeding grant given to principals, making it difficult for Principals to to continue to provide three meals a day to students at Six Cedis, Fifty Pesewas (GH¢6.50)
