Supervisor of building which collapsed at Adentan arrested
The Supervisor of the building that collapsed at Adentan is arrested into police custody. The three-storey was said to collapse in Adentan in Accra on Monday, claiming a life and injured some persons.

The said structure was under construction and it collapsing, has resulted in the death of one person and also left three other persons injured.
According to reports, two out of the three injured persons have been treated and discharged.

Jennifer Agyabeng, the Municipal Chief Executive for La-Nkwantanang Madina, has afterwards, ordered the seizure of the equipment of the contractors after it was revealed that the project had no permit.
Foster Arthur, the NADMO director for the Assembly, , speaking in an interview with Citi News, indicated that the police have started with investigations into the issue.

“It was revealed that they didn’t have a permit, so I invited the police to arrest the supervisor or the site foreman, Ganiyu Abdul, and he has been sent to the Adentan Police station.”
The said collapsed building in Adentan was a three-storey near the Kpogas furniture. It is closer to the Adentan footbridge along the SDA church junction and the West African Hardware Company.

Meanwhile, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) also has dmrevealed that the three-storey building collapsed due to a crush of one of the pillars of the building by a concrete mixer which led to a loss of balance in the building.
