I still remember vividly the first day we had an acquaintance (it was online though prior to us meeting physically). It was just a casual meeting. That was when I contacted you to seek clarification on something ???? then we established a bond from there.
I must confess, it took me a whole lot to contact you that day because I was shy and other hand, I thought you might get irritated. After that, I remained formal with you just as I do to others especially when I don’t know them and they are not close too. You, on the contrary, checked up on me on daily basis.
Time went by and naturally, we started falling in love with each other. Honestly, I didn’t realize that because I was still playing my “hard girl game” against love (lol..). The first day you said “I love you” I also replied with the same words because I thought it was a normal vibe. It continued like that until you said “Thank you for giving me a chance.” What! I heard the shock of my life (haha). I asked for clarification and you apologized for interpreting me wrongly. I felt bad though but as usual, the hard girl thing so I hid it.
From that day, I started to withdraw myself from our usual chats and video calls but I realize each time I try, I fall deeper in love with you yet I linger and became adamant. With time, you took over me that no day comes without a picture of you in my mind. I even have to speak to a friend about you and my state of being afraid to love. I was told to follow my heart. Then, over time, I realize you don’t tell me you miss me or love me so I felt I lost you. I became so dismal and desolate, very vacant(it was dreary).
