Akadie Andrews Addresses Student of Akatsico Ahead of SRC Election
Presidential Candidate for this year’s SRC election of Akatsi College of Education, Andrews Mawugbagbe Akadie has addressed the student populace of the school.
In his update, he spelled out his policies and also the source of finance and pleaded finally plead with the student body to give him the nod in the upcoming election

Despite the efforts of the current and past administrations to see the college get even better, there still remains a great deal of work to be done in order to meet the needs of students of the college. My service to the core agenda has excellent policies that the AKADIE & KEKELI led administration will put in place to transform this college. We have strategically identified problems that have been crippling the college over the years, and have designed an excellent policy plan to solve these problems in a pragmatic approach.

Means of generating income for SRC
Purchasing of e-zwich machine to enhance the use of the card among students.
Equipping Ecosaval and SRC brass band for outer performances
Setting up a mini printing press with other accessories and moderating the prices for students.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCY
Provision of TLM for teaching and learning.
Organization of debate and quizzes.
Making sure that all needed course materials are available before the beginning of each semester
Introduction of awards and certificate for deserving students and tutor for motivation and encouragement.
SANITATION, HEALTH AND MAINTENANCE
Operation neatness in, out and around the teacher Trainee
Reequipping the Red cross society with maximum first aid kit for instance of emergencies
Forming empowering a maintenance committee to take charge of Maintenance issues.
FURNITURE INADEQUACY
Procurement of material for a repair works to be done no damage furniture.
ELECTRICITY AND LIGHT
Fixing and extension of electric current from the SRC power generator
Fixing lighting system all around the campus in classrooms, cubicles and on the streets.
Provision of solar panels for some lecture to compensate electric bills
SPORTS AND GAMES
Sports and games beyond the usual
Inter hells and departmental games.
Organization of games with division teams and colleges .
ENTERTAINMENT AND FUN
Organization of events and competitions that will engage and display students talent and gifts.
Gospel rock shows, Talent shows, artistic night, movie night, comedy shows and many more.
