BROKEN WITHIN

Left lonely in the dark room
Far from reach of the moon
Elegant ocean dropped from the face
Generating a pool for solace

Lonely, desolate, isolated
Fed up with the smile like
The wind whispers a dirge
Of what worth are you?
What yields of your existence?

Of what place do I hold on the planet?
Of what recognition do I bear?
Why the daily falls?
Oh the burden apalls

Deep within the in-depth of a plaintive heart
Cry the sorrows of unanswered myriad questions
In the abyss and vacuum within
Lies a mot of lost identity

The head too shallow to carry the load
Searches for an escape
A chance to free
May be a sail over the landscape
To the land of the unknown
Where I could be known
Could do, it’s the only way

In the valley of deep scars
Forever enmeshed in slumber
That by myself I heedless
In the abyss of vacant thoughts

Dark fields, dark nights
Beyond the lone
I dared to tread
When I did die by my own hands

Now I lay Self-slain
Traversing to a strange land
Where I may hover and wonder
For a calamitious end to breathe
Yet I cannot return, I wish not so too

Kissed I the calm face of the ogin
I put out to sea, crossing the bar
Welcomed in the immortal choir
To sing in clumsy voices _ Bid Adieu
An inert body to reckon the sadness of farewell
