Teacher Unions call of strike The three teacher unions that had been on strike for the previous seven days in opposition to Dr. Eric Nkansah’s appointment as Director-General of the Ghana Education Service have ended their strike. This happens shortly after the National Labour Commission (NLC) successfully obtained a court order preventing the teacher unions from advancing with their strike. The National Association of Graduate Teachers’ President, Angel Kabonu, gave instructions to all teachers to return to the classroom starting on Monday, November 14, 2022, until further notice while speaking to the media on behalf of the unions.
