HOME IS HOME

Though we might be filled with anger
Though we might be filled with filament of hatred
Against the odds of our country
Though we might be twisted and turned
Though a gnawing hunger we may feel
Home is home, No place like home

Though we might not be the best
Neither shall we be the first
Though our image is crumbled
And we may be fumbled
Our peace may be jumbled
But home is always home, no place like home

Our survival may be handcuffed
Our shoulders may be lowered
We might have huffed
From the ugly race laid down now
Our precious assets might be altered
By they from the Fairer Race
Our motherland might wriggle in agony
But let’s not distort the harmony

How graceful and glamorous it is
To still hail our motherland
Despite the odds and rough
It’s a joy to see hands grow to build the land
How nice it is to see knees bended
As they say a prayer for the land

It’s astonishing how many come, multitudes
To lift high the banner of the land
And give shouts of victory
We all prayed for a win for our very own
As they journey to defend the land on the pitch

We are marching on
Never derailed by the toughest rough
Home is home, none like home
Till eternity, with hands joined together
We shall defend our home and be victorious
