Man slashes his 26-year old wife to death
A commercial bus driver’s wife, age 26, is believed to have been killed by her husband with a cutlass.
Police are currently looking for the culprit, Micheal Abeiku Hagan, who is currently no where to be found.
On Friday, January 13, some of the deceased’s family members learned about the tragedy at their residence in Oyoko New Site in the Eastern region’s New Juaben North Municipality.
In the bedroom of their apartment at Oyoko New Site, they described how the deceased was discovered on the floor wearing a blue floral top and blue shorts.

Upon inspection, several cutlass cuts on her back, head, forehead, fingers, hands, and legs were discovered.
As soon as the incident was reported to the police, they quickly traveled to the area to start their investigation.
While looking for the suspect, the Eastern Regional Police Command has not yet made an arrest.
There were three kids born to the suspect and the deceased.
What may have happened to justify the tragic incident on Friday dawn has residents and family members baffled.
Reliable sources, however, attest to the existence of some marital conflict.
Pastor Eric Addo claimed, “The man came to me a few days ago to report a marital issue he wished I handle between him and the wife who was a member of our church.
“But the woman traveled, so I was waiting for her to come back so that I could call all parties and resolve the problem. We lost the woman, which is quite tragic. I’m incredibly shocked.
The deceased’s body has been placed in the morgue at St. Joseph Hospital for an autopsy and additional investigation.
