ONE KILLED, 42 ARRESTED AT STONEBWOY’S ASHAIMAN CONCERT
One person is reported to be killed and 42 other persons arrested at the Ashaiman to the World Concert pioneered by popular Ghanaian dancehall, Afropop and raggae musician, Stonebwoy.
News available on the net space indicates that one person has been stabbed to death at the concert organized by the musician, Livingstone Etse Satakla popularly known as Stonebwoy.
Aside the death, one person was confirmed in as critical condition after sustaining degrees of injuries from a sharp objects used on him during the chaos and attack at the concert. According to reports, the said victim is receiving medical treatment at a health centre.

Meanwhile, some 43 suspects have been arrested by the police in collaboration with the military for diverse criminal offenses.
The suspects are in custody at the Ashaiman Divisional Police Headquarters.
The body of the dead person is also deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy while investigation is still in session.
While the police remain silent on the matter pending the outcome of investigations, rumours has it that police retrieved narcotic drugs and weapons including two toy and manufactured pistols.
The Ashaiman To The World Festival or Concert, is an event organized by Stonebwoy on yearly basis. The year’s edition was held on Saturday, 3rd September, 2022 at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman. The program was postponed twice due to the advent of the coronavirus.

On its 7th edition, the event received recognition as one of the most popular and largest artist-led free music festivals in Africa which celebrates arts, culture and music
The 2019 edition saw success and drew 100,000 people. This year’s edition however, was a planned week-long celebration.
The event saw varieties of activities, including sporting activities, arts & cultural displays, health care events, which preluded the main music night.
The concert night, like previous editions, assembled local residents and visitors from around the world to experience incredible music performance at Ashaiman’s iconic Saka Saka Park.
