Rev. Stephen Wengam Elected New General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana
Reverend Stephen Yenusom Wengam, the Lead Pastor of Cedar Mountain International Church in Accra has been elected as the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
His election took place at the 30th Biennial General Council Meeting of Assemblies of God.
The 50 years old Reverend is also the Lead Radio Pastor at Citi FM, His predecessor is Rev. Prof. Yaw Frimpong -Manso who has been the Superintendent for 12years.
He assured the the leadership of the church of uniting Assemblies of God for true spiritual revival and greatness.
He also promised to lead putting on board visionary leadership and a “fulfillment of the Great Commission”.
He reminded them about their birth from the Azusa Street Festival and also assure them of regaining their position as the leading Pentecostal Church.
He started that his line of ministry was filled up with false accusations and misrepresentations.
Speaking on his victory, he narrowed it to that of an ordinary local pastor who believes God still raise Davids from obscurity to prominence.
In all he admonishes us all not to put the law above grace
