Teacher Trainees Allowance and Its New Updates.
The President of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana, Hon. Dzunu Jonathan in his submission at the National Dialogue on Initial Teacher Education stated that two months’ allowance arrears of teacher trainees have been released for payment.

In a close interaction on the need for maintaining allowance in Colleges of Education, the President identified some areas the allowance seeks to handle in the lives of teacher trainees amidst the factors set down by many to cancel allowance in schools.
He refuted the fact that trainees survived 7 months without an allowance and boldly said he is grateful for the two months paid so far.
Teacher trainees are thereby entreated to stay on guard with their cards for withdrawals
