TTAG-EGA ADDRESSES CETAG STRIKE
The leadership of the Teacher Trainees association of Ghana (TTAG), Eastern and Greater Accra Sector has addressed it’s constituents on the looming CETAG Strike.
Per reports, the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana has given notices from 22nd August, 2022, their intention of embarking on an industrial action if government fails to address issues concerning their welfare.

The Association through a memo, has asked it’s constituents to remain calm as the leadership engages in consultations concerning the matter at hand.
The leadership asked students not to act on their own will in doing anything. They also called on all local SRC presidents to engage with principals in their college to see the way forward on the issue.

TEACHER TRAINEES ASSOCIATION OF GHANA, EASTERN AND GREATER ACCRA SECTOR
With reference to the communiqué released by CETAG dated 30th August, 2022 with reference number CET/COUNCIL/22/Vol.3, the leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana, Eastern and Greater Accra Sector is by this memo informing all its constituents to remain calm on the matter relating to the mandatory annual leave comminuqué issued by the leadership of CETAG to its members.

The leadership of TTAG-EGA is also by this informing its constituents not to act upon their own decisions, rather wait for further directives from their college authorities as the leadership of the TEACHER TRAINEES ASSOCIATION OF GHANA (TTAG) engages the necessary stakeholders to resolve the matter at hand. We call on all SRC Presidents and executives to engage their college authorities on the subject in question to know the way forward.
