He assured teacher trainees that together with the TTAG leadership they will fight for the payment of the rest of the arrears and also work on the subsequent payments.
Speaking on the issue of some teacher trainees not receiving any amount of money, he stated that delay in payment is due to the late submission of data to SLTF by the various colleges and thus trainees should have patience.
The Financial Secretary of TTAG, also, in his address also stated the following
“Good evening honorable members. I’m of high hopes that the much-awaited good news has reached us all.
However, it’s quite unfortunate that some of our colleagues have not received theirs yet. Kindly note that this anomaly is unintentional from any of the ends.
The issue is that some might not get an SMS alert yet they have been paid. Aside from that, another factor is that SLTF is yet to receive the data of some trainees especially the level 100 students in some colleges.
We’ll advise that the victims try loading their ezwich at other places at varied times and see whether the situation will change or not.
If the aforementioned steps fail, we will in this regard entreat all such victims to stay calm, go to the allowance coordinators in their respective colleges and find out whether their data (accurate ) has reached SLTF.
We hope that this message calms nerves down and goes a long way to salvage the issue at hand.”
“NB: NO ONE WILL BE LEFT OUT.” “TTAG!! We mean well!!” He concluded.
