Update on Student Loan Payment and Other Matters
The executive board of National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) have duly taken steps to ensure a more effective collaboration with the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) to plan the implementation of an improved plan to enhance service to all students.
The Union in their active service is working in all angles to ensure loans in arrears are paid to beneficiaries.

In a press release, all beneficiaries will be paid their backlog close of next week. In lieu of this SLTF has agreed to work on Saturday and Sunday to ensure that timeliness are met.
The Union after further interrogation into the delay in disbursement of loan discovered some pressing mistakes done by beneficiaries in their submission during application.
Due to some mistakes like uploading of full picture instead of passport picture, mismatch of information, the Union wishes to encourage students to take their time to provide accurate information.
