LATER OF REGRETS

Standing here
I know I screwed it up
I told you I’ll always be there
But I’ve screwed it up

While the emotions still pend
I don’t know where to start
I don’t even know how it’ll end
But I just want to be a part

We had a lot together
We made plans together
It was just the start
I never knew we could be apart

Argh! What even happened
I woke up one-day to break promises
So we can’t be Mr and Mrs
It has already happened

Times flew, years on
Now memories fill my heart’s shelves
I thought we could mend ourselves
But we both moved on

It’s obvious we can’t be as we used to be
Haunted by the demon of guilt, I fled
I don’t know when it’ll let me be
I guess i just have to endure indeed
