PGTA has set a notable standard for the Ghanaian awards schemes and impacting the youths positively
As an eye witness of the maiden edition of the Prestigious Ghana Tertiary Awards held at the Local Government auditorium on the 24th of June 2023, I will like to share with you my point of view.
PGTA organized by Zealous empire who’s CEO is Golomeh Mumuni Evans Bawumia have indeed raised the standard of the award schemes in Ghana. The collaboration and enthusiasm of board members from the beginning till the end of the program was remarkable.
A difference I noticed between all other award schemes and PGTA was their love for what they did. Unlike most award schemes whose focus is clearly known to be on their profits, PGTA was focused mainly on delivering the best by putting their nominees’ first.
As a new award scheme, I was expecting them to present a plague or citation only to the winners but I was amazed when as they presented both. A loud wow escaped my lips when they presented a citation to the guest of honour, Queen Sarfoa for being present on the night and her impact on the youths.
Not only that, the best ambassador, Akumapa also received a citation for her hard work and dedication. The biggest one was when the star awards of GH¢ 3000.00 to the star nominee of the night, Many3 Karley just as they had promised to do.
I would like to say, this is what we have to learn. Learn from the best so you can deliver best. Thanks to PGTA for making a difference.
