Nkurakan – ‘Sakawa’ boys allegedly returned snake to ritualist
A large snake was discovered in a sealed chop box in the community of Nkurakan on Sunday morning, causing controversy.
Many people flocked to the scene to watch the incident and see the large snake, which no one knew where it originated from.
But according to preliminary information, the snake was left at the location by some young men who had come to perform rituals at a location renowned for engaging in such activities, local journalist David Ayertey said in an interview with the media.

“My initial information indicate that some young men came to a certain man who is secretly known to be allegedly involved in money ritual and were given the snake. The snake according to report was supposed to be given eggs for 30 days after which it was expected to vomit money for them” he explained.
Surprisingly, David Ayertey claimed that as people had gathered around it to examine it, several young men had taken up the chop box containing the snake.

“Some men that I would not like to mention their names came from nowhere to pick up the box containing the snake and left”, he asserted.
The fact that the chop box was discovered close to the spot where a 6-month-old baby was found dead on Saturday after going missing for a few hours has caused panic in Nkurakan.
Residents are requesting that the Inspector General of Police take urgent action to address the rising crime issues in the neighborhood.
