Teacher Trainees’ Allowance paid
The teacher trainees’ allowance arrears for the 2022/2023 academic year has been disbursed by the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) to trainees in all the forty-six public colleges of education.

The SLTF has paid the two months trainees’ allowance due in the previous academic year.

The last time trainees received their allowance was in July 2023 so some even concluded that the allowance would not be paid again while others also kept anticipating for it.

The payment of the allowance will relieve many teacher trainees of their financial burdens because they long awaited it.

Trainees are therefore informed to go to the bank and load their E-Zwich cards.

However, teacher trainees are to note that there were 6 months in the 2022/2023 academic year and not 8 months.
